Who we are
This website belongs to Palmiye Home, a holiday apartment in Göynük, Kemer, Antalya, Turkey. Contact: aliszytr@gmail.com.
Hosting
Like every website, the site runs on a hosting provider's web server, which keeps standard technical access logs (including IP addresses) for security and operation. We do not use these logs to profile visitors.
Cookies and your choice
When you first visit, a small banner asks whether Google Analytics and Google Ads may be used. Until you accept, Google's tag is not loaded at all: no Google cookies are set and no measurement data is sent to Google. Your choice is saved in your browser (localStorage key “palmiye_cookies”) so the banner does not appear again; you can change it at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of each page. If you pick a language with the language switch, that choice is saved in the same way (key “palmiye_lang”); the site never redirects you automatically.
Google Analytics and Google Ads
Only after you accept does the site load Google's tag (gtag.js) for Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads conversion measurement; Google may then use cookies to measure visits and ad performance. From then on we record clicks on the WhatsApp, Booking.com and Airbnb links, clicks on review links and the use of the availability calendar. We do not send names, phone numbers, email addresses or chat contents to Google. If you later decline, measurement stops and the Google cookies set by this site are deleted.
Visit notifications
When a page is opened, the site sends our own server a short notice that contains only the page language, the page path and the name of the referring website (not its full address). To add an approximate location (city or region and country), our server looks up your IP address in a GeoIP database stored on the server itself; no external service is asked. The IP address is used only for this lookup in the server's memory and is then discarded: it is not stored, not logged and not included in the message. The server then sends a short message to the owner's Telegram account, for example “Yeni ziyaret · Antalya, Türkiye · TR · Ana sayfa” (new visit · place · language · page). The location is approximate and can be wrong, for example with a VPN or a mobile network. No per-visitor record is kept; only a shared counter that limits the number of notifications is stored. Within one browser session the notice is sent once (sessionStorage key “palmiye_notified”).
Availability calendar
The calendar shows dates from our Booking.com and Airbnb calendars. Our server reads only the dates from those calendars; guest names, contact details, reservation codes and prices are neither read nor published. Your browser loads the calendar data from our own server and sends no personal data with it. The order of the booking links may be adapted using your browser's time-zone setting, only inside your browser; it is not sent or stored.
Map
The Google Maps map is not loaded automatically. It loads only if you click “Show map”; Google then processes your request under its own privacy policy. The “View on Google Maps” and “Get directions” links open Google Maps.
Booking platforms and WhatsApp
Links to WhatsApp, Booking.com and Airbnb open those services. Anything you send or book there is handled by those services under their own terms and privacy policies.
